1 10 VALHALLA (E495) Sent for sampling post-race.
2 12 NOIR RIDER (E138) Approaching the 500 Metres was steadied away from AUGUST MOON. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 3 H Z TOURBILLON (E149) Jumped awkwardly and became unbalanced and then shortly after was steadied when crowded. Approaching the 250 Metres lay in and away from NOIR RIDER and as a result made contact with the hindquarters of AMAZING TRAVIS and became unbalanced.
4 11 VIVA A LA (G282) Approaching the 100 Metres was eased away from VALHALLA (C Y Ho) which shifted out. C Y Ho was advised to exercise more care.
5 4 HERCULES (C476) No report.
6 2 AUGUST MOON (D409) Near the 1000 Metres was steadied when crossed by SWEET DIAMOND (A Badel) which shifted in when not quite clear. A Badel was advised to exercise more care.
7 8 AMAZING TRAVIS (H132) No report.
8 5 CRYSTAL POWERFUL (H068) Jumped awkwardly.
9 7 SWEET DIAMOND (G063) Bumped shortly after the start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, SWEET DIAMOND will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
10 1 ALLOY KING (D287) After the race, A Hamelin reported that his instructions were to endeavour to hold a forward position, but from a wide barrier, carrying top weight of 135 lbs, he was unable to continue forward in the early stages and as a result raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 6 EIGHT TRIGRAMS (C102) Near the 350 Metres was bumped by VALHALLA which shifted out to improve. Near the 250 Metres was steadied when crowded between VALHALLA which shifted out slightly and VIVA A LA (K De Melo) which shifted in. K De Melo was advised to exercise more care. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 9 BRAVE AND BOLD (H275) Jumped only fairly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race revealed that the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm. Before being allowed to race again, BRAVE AND BOLD will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
