7 K041  SKY DEEP  09/11/2024   173  SKY DEEP (K041) was slow to begin. When the tongue tie was unable to be fitted on the horse, which was having its first race start, the Stewards permitted the horse to race without that gear. Finished tailed out and performance was considered unacceptable. Has since performed satisfactorily in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam – Race 173.
8 H028  KA YING WARRIOR  14/07/2024   825  KA YING WARRIOR (H028) shifted in at the start, resulted in its rider having to correct his mount. After the race, rider reported that from a wide barrier he was obliged to make use of his mount but was unable to lead when a runner showed superior speed to his inside. He said in the Home Straight his mount failed to respond to his riding and raced in a disappointing manner. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Performance as compared to its previous race starts was considered to be disappointing. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 825.
9 J181  ACE POWER  13/11/2024   181  ACE POWER (J181) jumped awkwardly. After the event, rider reported that his mount hung out in the middle stages around the turns and as a result during that section of the race ran wide - Race 181.
10 E323  REGENT GLORY  06/11/2024   161  REGENT GLORY (E323) bumped at the start - Race 161.
11 H384  HINOKAMI KAGURA  23/10/2024   125  HINOKAMI KAGURA (H384) after the event, rider reported that his mount did not appreciate racing in amongst other horses, particularly when racing tight on the first turn and that was the main reason for its disappointing performance. After the race was examined by the vet who said an endoscopic exam showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Has since passed an official vet exam - Race 125.

2 J279  DRAGON AIR FORCE  24/11/2024   205  DRAGON AIR FORCE (J279) in the early stages raced keenly and near the 800M got its head up when being steadied away from a runner. When questioned regarding his riding in the Home Straight, rider stated that near the 200M he attempted to shift out to secure clear running, however, his mount did not respond to his efforts and was reluctant to shift out. He said as a result he then elected to shift in to obtain clear running, however, when those runners shifted ground, his mount was then held up for clear running until passing the 50M where it shifted out. After considering his explanation, the Stewards found the tactics adopted by rider were reasonable in the circumstances - Race 205.
