She added that as a consequence her mount did not run on when placed under pressure in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 224.

When questioned regarding his riding in the Home Straight, rider stated that near the 200M he attempted to shift out to secure clear running, however, his mount did not respond to his efforts and was reluctant to shift out. He said as a result he then elected to shift in to obtain clear running between two runners, however, when those runners shifted ground, his mount was then held up for clear running until passing the 50M where it shifted out. After considering his explanation, the Stewards found the tactics adopted by rider were reasonable in the circumstances - Race 205.
