After the event, rider stated that whilst he had expected to take up a forward position, it was not his intention to lead. He said after obtaining the lead in the early stages his mount was disadvantaged by being pressured in the lead in the middle stages when a runner went forward. He said as a consequence his mount gave ground in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 194.

When questioned regarding his riding, rider stated that after following a runner in the event, when that runner shifted out approaching the 450M he elected to improve to its inside to obtain clear running. He said after being briefly held up on the Home Turn he was able to place his mount under full pressure on straightening where his mount ran on well - Race 233.

He said as a result his mount was not able to finish the race off strongly in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Performance as compared to its previous start was considered disappointing. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 170.

After the event, rider stated that his mount, which was having its second race start, raced greenly when obliged to race wide and without cover. He said as a consequence in the Home Straight his mount did not respond to his riding. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Finished tailed out and performance was considered unacceptable. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 241.
