examined by the vet and passed suitable to race. After the event, rider stated that the
instructions were to hold an on-pace position. She said despite riding her mount along in
the early stages it did not show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position and as a
result was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event when
unable to cross runners to her inside. She added that as a result of the horse racing wide
and without cover it was unable to finish the race off under pressure in the Home
Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 537. |
