After the race was examined by the vet who said an endoscopic exam showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Has since passed an official vet exam - Race 565.

Approaching the 200M rider fumbled his whip and after his whip accidentally made contact with the rider of another runner, he was able to regather it a short distance after - Race 550.

11 J146  YODA'S CHOICE  09/04/2025   574  YODA'S CHOICE (J146) shifted in at the start and was bumped. After the event, rider stated that his mount was able to lead but during the running of the race made a respiratory noise. He added that he endeavoured to increase the tempo on his mount from the 600M as is its usual racing pattern but the horse did not respond and gave ground under pressure in the Home Straight. Trainer advised that, in his opinion, the horse is better suited racing on the All Weather surface. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Performance as a last start winner was considered to be disappointing. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 574.

He said after commencing well his mount showed sufficient pace to hold a position outside the lead without having to be pressured to do so - Race 565.

1 J250  BEAUTIFUL WIN  13/04/2025   587  BEAUTIFUL WIN (J250) the tongue tie was replaced in the Parade Ring. Near the 200M a runner, which was laying in, shifted in when not clear of the horse, resulting in the horse having to be steadied - Race 587.
2 J326  PERPETUAL POWER  26/01/2025   381  PERPETUAL POWER (J326) was withdrawn two days before raceday by order of the Stewards on vet’s advice (inappetence). Has since passed an official vet exam - Race 381.
