He said when asked for an effort in the Home Straight his mount lay in and finished the race off only fairly. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 566.

3 J194  EXCEL WONGCHOY  15/03/2025   510  EXCEL WONGCHOY (J194) jumped only fairly. After the event, rider reported that his mount did not handle the "Good to Yielding” track conditions. After the race was examined by the vet who said an endoscopic exam showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Has since passed an official vet exam - Race 510.

After the event, rider stated that his mount raced greenly throughout the race and near the 900M shifted in and away from a runner and made contact with another runner and then over-reacted to that contact. As a result, the horse shifted out and was checked when awkwardly placed close to the heels of that runner - Race 586.

8 J521  LUCKY STATEMENT  16/02/2025   431  LUCKY STATEMENT (J521) made contact with the right side of its barrier on jumping and as a result commenced only fairly. Near the 800M was steadied when crowded. After the event, rider stated that when he was concerned there may be something amiss with his mount he eased it down from the event on the Home Turn. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Finished tailed out and performance was considered unacceptable. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 431.
9 K149  SUGAR QUEEN PRAWN  20/04/2025   603  SUGAR QUEEN PRAWN (K149) after the event rider stated that his mount appeared to knuckle shortly after the start. From its outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages - Race 603.
