He said after commencing well he allowed his mount to obtain the lead without pressuring his mount to do so. He said in the early stages his mount then commenced to race keenly and whilst he was aware that his mount was running inside of standard time he was unable to set a slower pace as his mount was racing too keenly. He added from the 800M his mount came under pressure before giving ground in the Home Straight. He said he had recommended to connections to remove the blinkers from the horse should the horse continue to race over the 1650M - Race 662.
