For a short distance near the 100M had difficulty obtaining clear running. After the event rider stated that with the expected fast pace of the event he anticipated taking up a midfield position. He said after beginning only fairly he elected to ride his mount in a conservative manner in the early stages to avoid racing wide - Race 658.

As the Stewards were satisfied that the occurrence occurred simultaneously to the start being effected the horse was declared a runner. Barrier manners were considered unacceptable. Has since performed satisfactorily in a barrier trial. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 617.

He said in the early stages he was obliged to make some use of his mount to obtain the lead and that, together with the horse stepping up in class in the event, were the principal reasons for its disappointing performance. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 677.
