2 H253  CERVIN  30/04/2025   630  CERVIN (H253) near the 250M was hampered when taken wider. When questioned rider stated that the instructions were to ride the horse in a midfield position to endeavour to obtain cover. He said in the early stages when the 6th placegetter was steadied to avoid a runner, his mount commenced to race fiercely and as a result was checked away from the 6th placegetter. He added that his mount continued to race fiercely throughout the middle stages and as a result near the 800M he shifted his mount out to commence a forward move and to provide it with clear running. He further stated that as a result his mount failed to run on in the Home Straight. Trainer confirmed the instructions and said such instructions were issued to attempt to provide the horse with the opportunity to finish the race off. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Finished tailed out and performance was considered unacceptable. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 630.
3 H290  COURIER MAGIC  14/05/2025   671  COURIER MAGIC (H290) jumped only fairly. Lay out in the Home Straight and near the 100M made contact with a runner. Over the final 100M the horse then made contact with that runner on a number of occasions - Race 671.
4 H419  WINDICATOR FAMILY  11/06/2025   747  WINDICATOR FAMILY (H419) bumped shortly after the start. Leaving the 150M improved into a run between two runners. A short distance later a runner then shifted out and made contact with the horse, resulting in the horse then racing tight for a short distance thereafter - Race 747.
5 E273  ESCAPE ROUTE  22/06/2025   768  ESCAPE ROUTE (E273) after the event rider stated that the instructions were to take up a forward position but had not expected to race as close as he did. He said due to the work the horse was required to do in the early stages to cross runners to its inside his mount was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. Trainer confirmed the instructions issued. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings – Race 768.
6 H277  SHINKANSEN  11/06/2025   747  SHINKANSEN (H277) leaving the 150M shifted out and bumped a runner. After the event rider stated that the instructions were to hold a forward position with cover with his mount stepping up in distance. He said after his mount commenced well he elected to continue forward to cross to the lead - Race 747.
7 H173  PODIUM  11/06/2025   747  PODIUM (H173) after the event rider could offer no explanation for the horse’s failure to run on in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 747.
8 J058  FOREMOST TEDDY  28/06/2025   787  FOREMOST TEDDY (J058) bumped at the start. After the event rider confirmed that from a wide barrier he was instructed to ride his mount in a conservative manner in the early stages. Trainer confirmed the instructions and advised such instructions were issued due to the expected fast pace in the early stages to offset the wide barrier draw – Race 787.
9 G372  YEABOI  14/05/2025   669  YEABOI (G372) shortly after the start bumped with a runner. From a wide barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the event rider reported that his mount failed to travel well throughout the race and did not run on when placed under pressure in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings – Race 669.
10 J111  TRADITION  01/07/2025   798  TRADITION (J111) jumped only fairly. Trainer advised that the intention was to ride the horse in a more forward position. After the event rider stated that despite riding his mount along in the early stages it did not show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position - Race 798.

1 H339  NINJA DERBY  28/06/2025   787  NINJA DERBY (H339) noted to have blood in the mouth on arrival at the Start. Was examined by the vet and passed suitable to race. In the early stages raced keenly and got its head up - Race 787.
2 J144  FAIRY HORSE  28/06/2025   788  FAIRY HORSE (J144) jumped awkwardly. Near the 350M was steadied when disappointed for clear running. Then was held up between the 350M and approaching the 250M - Race 788.
