7 DELIGHTFUL WIN (CC154) B Prebble TT Average to begin, lacked early speed and settled worse than midfield, 4 back on rails 5 to 6Ls away throughout, travelled nicely to turn, weaved between horses in straight (checked 300 M), closed off nicely late.
4 VIKING TOR (CE207) R Fradd CP1 Jumped with them, allowed to settle in midfield, raced 2 wide 6Ls away, enjoyed easy trip to turn, still well back on straightening (steadied 400 M), eased out and came with strong run to be closest at finish. Better effort.
10 FREEBIRD (CC319) M W Leung BO Broke well, showed customary speed to challenge for early lead, took control after 200 M, dictated speed in front, 1L clear approaching turn, hung out in straight, showed good fight to be swamped late, did well to hold on to make frame.
9 PRIME DELIGHT (CE193) S Dye B1 Stumbled out and bumped early, restrained to angle into midfield trailing position, 2 wide 4 to 5Ls away thereafter, pushed into clear at 300 M but lacked real dash when asked. Closed race off evenly.
2 AWARD (CE111) O Doleuze TT Average to begin, showed no early dash, took up running near rear, raced 2 wide in mid-section 8Ls away, had job to do with field to beat on turn, closed race off nicely between horses to be nearest at line.
11 MASTER MARAUDER (CA184) E Saint-Martin -- Fast into stride, amongst first few early, allowed to roll on and sit at leaders girth, always working to cart up without cover, laid down gauntlet at 300 M. Ran out of energy at 200 M and was one-paced to line.
6 BOUNTIFUL (CB114) C Munce -- Began with rest, restrained from awkward alley to race rear enough to last, always 9Ls away in 2 wide spot, made run 3 and 4 wide from 500 M, closed race off well down outside to be nearest on line.
5 KING HESPERUS (CE151) W C Marwing B/TT Standard to begin, pushed along to be up there early, trapped wide when unable to slot in, raced 3 wide without cover 2 to 3Ls away, always working to turn, pushed along into straight but gradually weakened from 200 M.
8 EYE WITNESS (CG027) F Coetzee TT Broke with them, pressed forward to take up spot 3 back on fence 4Ls away, travelled well to turn, searching for run at 300 M, only kept on at same pace when received room at 200 M.
14 SUPER CHARGE (CC299) H W Lai B Away well, showed great early pace to be in challenge for lead, raced behind leader after 200 M, had cosy trip in mid-section using little to turn, received rails run in straight but was one-paced and lost touch last 200 M.
13 ZONUS (CE149) C Williams CP Began only fairly, lacked early toe and drifted back to rear, raced 3 wide with cover 8Ls away from leaders, pushed along to make 4 wide run into straight, lacked another gear when asked and plodded to line.
