1 1 FLORAL PEGASUS (CG011) C K Tong TT Broke nicely from inside alley, easily lead them early, kept rolling at a solid clip 1L clear in front, still held advantage on turn and had rest chasing, rallied strongly to hold off challengers to score in equal record time.
2 3 SOUNDS BEST (CE255) E Saint-Martin TT Slow to begin, taken straight to rails, raced 4 back on fence 5Ls off pace, not asked to do a lot in mid-section, began to make ground to turn, stuck to fence and closed hard late without a lot of room to just miss.
3 8 EXCELLENT BOY (CE238) D Nikolic -- Bounced out, slotted into sweet seat 1 out 1 back 2Ls away, had easy run 2-wide thereafter, eased 3-wide approaching turn, loomed to them easily but run ended at 150 M and only held ground to line.
4 5 GREAT ACHIEVEMENT (CD250) G Mosse TT Began well, taken to rails to hold spot behind leader, enjoyed charmed run thereafter, tracked nicely on turn, still 1L down but gained dream split into straight, finished race off well but couldn't find extra gear to threaten.
5 7 SHABU SHABU (CB290) K L Chui -- Jumped with line, lacked speed as usual and settled down worse than midfield, 2-wide 5-6Ls away in middle stages, still well back in traffic approaching turn, closed steadily between horses in straight without threatening.
6 10 CAPE PRINCE (CG066) A Delpech -- Slow to begin and crowded shortly after, had to settle for spot 3 back on fence, not asked to do much work thereafter, on bit to turn, eased out into clear into straight, lacked fitness and finished off at same pace last 200 M.
7 6 FIVE GRAINS (CB280) O Doleuze -- Began fairly, lacked early speed and drifted back to last, lobbed along at tail 7-8Ls away, still had field to beat on turn, switched out widest in straight and closed evenly from an impossible spot.
8 12 CLASSA WIN (CA115) H W Lai -- Jumped with field, didn't display any early toe, held midfield spot 2-wide 4Ls from front runners, travelled fairly in mid-section, 3Ls down on turn, switched out and tried hard in straight but didn't show dash to get closer.
9 4 RUM SHOT (CE206) Y T Cheng B Standard to leave gates, soon mustered speed to drive forward and assume role outside the leader, did work facing breeze 1L away throughout, moved up to challenge on turn. Couldn't sustain effort and dropped out from 200 M.
10 9 WINNING REWARD (CE254) B Prebble B Jumped nicely, restrained in order to take trail, unable to slot in and raced midfield 3-wide without cover 4Ls away, always working to turn, under pressure coming 4-wide into straight, dropped out after hard run.
11 2 GREENESSY (CE001) D Whyte CP-/XB/SR1 Moderate to begin didn't show any early speed, occupied spot 2nd last 6-7Ls away 2-wide at tail, niggled along to improve from Rock, couldn't muster when run presented in straight and battled to line.
12 11 SUNBELL (CB391) M Odendaal CP Began with rest pushed on but unable to find spot in 2-wide line, raced 3-wide with cover 5Ls away, covered ground throughout, still had task on turn, tracked wide but showed nothing in straight to be easily beaten.
