2 11 SINGING DINERS (CH063) E Saint-Martin TT Slow into stride, regathered to take a midfield position 4Ls back on rails, had a soft trip, tracked eventual winner on circle, saved ground along fence, only clear last 100 M and closed hard late to go down by narrow margin.
3 13 OURAJA (CG214) K L Chui CP-/B1 Restrained from a wide alley, raced 9 or more lengths back, harmed by tempo, tracked 3 wide from 600 M, 5Ls back on turn, switched wide and made many lengths last furlong to go down in 3 way go.
4 2 O'REILLY RALLY (CH266) B Prebble TT Fair to begin, pushed on to race behind leader, 2 wide 1L back on circle, travelled comfortably leaving bend after nice trip, went to lead and looked a chance to 200 M but couldn't sprint again.
5 10 HAPPY MASTER (CE050) Z Purton SR No early pace and faded back from an awkward draw, raced 7 to 8Ls back in 3 wide line unsuited by pace, back in traffic on bend, didn't have any luck finding daylight in straight and had no real crack at them.
6 12 STAR OF FAME (CH043) M Nunes XB/TT Began with them, outpaced early and ended up behind midfield on rails 6 to 7Ls back, not asked in mid-section but disadvantaged by tempo, in traffic turning, no real chance to improve at not tested in straight.
7 5 GRAND STORE (CH087) Y T Cheng -- Out in line, pushed on to take closer order, took a sit behind pace pair 2Ls back 2 wide, on bridle throughout, lost run at 250 M, in amongst horses for rest of straight but only finished off fairly regardless.
8 3 ENCHANTED (CE065) S Dye SR Moderate break, ended up parked 3 wide without cover 4Ls back in midfield, tempo suited and pressed on to be 1/2L down challenging entering straight, there to 200 M before workload took toll and weakened.
9 6 CIRCUIT HERO (CG304) G Mosse -- Standard jump, drifted to behind midfield 6Ls back in search of cover, raced 3 wide with trail not helped by tempo, improved 4 and 5 wide bend, looked a chance at 250 M but peaked on run late.
10 9 THE WITCH'S BROOM (CH231) C K Tong -- Broke well, rolled on and took up running, set an even tempo in front, 1L clear on circle, under siege on bend, found until 200 M but weakened out tamely thereafter.
11 8 MACHO EXPRESSO (CH261) F Coetzee -- Out with line, ended up 5Ls back in 2 wide line, had a suitable run and edged closer 3 wide on bend, 2Ls back coming 4 wide turning, in contention to 200 M but didn't finish off thereafter.
12 7 SUPER SNIPPETS (CG217) O Doleuze B No early pace, soon towards rear, raced on rails 9Ls back, harmed by tempo, well back approaching bend, spent most of straight looking for runs but to no avail. No real chance at clear running.
13 4 ENCORE WIN (CH251) A Delpech B/TT Began with purpose, raced 3 wide with cover in midfield 5Ls back, covered ground on bend, in amongst horses turning and never had run present. Not fully tested. (Saddle shifted.)
14 14 CLASSA WIN (CA115) H W Lai -- Taken to tail from a wide alley, raced 10Ls adrift of leaders, made a searching 4 wide run from 600 M, widest bend, faded out gradually from 300 M.
