5 NOBLE HEART (CC355) G Boss B/TT Began in line, taken down to fence, had an ideal run 4Ls back on fence, benefitted with pace on, tracked into race on bend, came to middle and asserted authority last 200 M to draw away and score comfortably.
1 DASHING THUNDER (CD080) B Prebble -- Standard jump, ended up in rearward division 5Ls back in 2-wide line, aided by reasonable tempo, carted back by tiring horse on rails before bend, finished off nicely along inside but no match for winner.
6 QUEST FOR LOVE (CE242) O Doleuze B No early pace, assumed spot 5Ls back on rails, helped by pace in mid-section, crowded at 800 M, improved on bend outside runners, switched out in straight and made good late progress to just miss 2nd.
11 THREE CLUBS (CG149) D Beadman -- Average getaway, raced 5-6Ls away in running line, travelled well with pace on, made a 3-wide run passing Rock, kept to task in straight doing best work late to make frame.
10 LUCKY MONEY (CE159) H W Lai -- Displayed usual pace to challenge for front, unable to lead but continued to apply pressure to leader, kept pace genuine to bend, still challenging turning but peaked on run last 100 M.
2 BUTTERFIELD (CG178) C Soumillon B Allowed to drift back from an awkward alley, posted 3-wide with cover in midfield, did share of work and hampered badly by tiring horse at 400 M, got going again late making some headway when race was over.
9 MY LUCK (CE256) K L Chui B/XB Bounced out, pressed on to lead, worried throughout by outside horse, set an honest speed racing keenly, still in battle for front leaving bend, workload took toll and weakened last 150 M.
8 DASHING CHAMPION (CC015) K T Yeung SR/TT Even jump, held a prominent role behind leader, struggled to go speed 2Ls back on rails, urged along on bend, close enough on turning, took inside runs and slightly crowded at 250 M, no finish thereafter.
4 KING ACRYLIC (CG295) Z Purton B/TT Began in line, slotted in nicely to 1 out 1 back spot, had an even run but did share of work with solid pace, niggled along on bend, one-paced in straight and just battled last bit.
12 AWARD (CE111) F Coetzee TT Slow to begin, raced detached 9 or so lengths back, niggled along to improve throughout, still well back on bend, only passed tired runners and was well beaten.
3 CAGA BOY (CG060) Y T Cheng -- Out with rest, ended up 3-4Ls back in 2-wide line, urged along at mid-point, didn't travel and weakened noticeably from 500 M point. (See Racing Incidents - never comfortable.)
7 BOBO WIN (CC238) G Mosse TT Showed usual turn of foot to look for a forward spot, pushed on but caught 3-wide 2Ls back, did plenty of work with solid pace, dropped out tamely from bend.
