3 OURAJA (CG214) B Prebble B Jumped in line, pressed on to assume a prominent spot first without cover, had a nice run with even sections, travelled well leaving bend, took over quickly at 200 M and went away to score a comfortable victory.
8 SUPER CHARGE (CC299) Y T Cheng B Began nicely, gradually worked forward to race outside leader, took over after 300 M, set tempo to suit in mid-section, held a 1/2L on turning, passed easily by winner at 200 M but stuck on evenly for 2nd.
7 MAGIC SWEEP (CH299) C Soumillon B No pace from outset, shared rear 7Ls back in running line, speed even enough to suit, still well back on turning, switched out to middle at 400 M, only warmed up last 200 M charging late for placing.
2 CONGRATULATION (CH032) F Coetzee -- Fast into stride, crossed to front but content to take a sit on leaders back, enjoyed easy time thereafter, angled 2 wide on turning, looked a hope at 300 M but just couldn't go with them and lost place late.
11 STAR OF FAME (CH043) K T Yeung XB/TT Out with rest, slotted into prominent position 1 out 1 back, suited by even sections, travelled well 3Ls back on turning, into clear at 300 M but only managed to hold ground in run to line.
4 CALIFORNIA LUCK (CG215) K L Chui TT Showed some pace but elected to take a trail, had a soft trip, 3Ls back on fence, used little to bend but rails bias against, shifted out on turning but couldn't dash with them just holding position on concluding stages.
9 THUNDER DANCING (CG250) O Doleuze B No pace from outset, ended up 3 wide at rear 7Ls from leaders, covered ground throughout, made a 4 wide run without cover on bend, came to middle in straight and closed off well enough to be nearest on line.
14 GREAT SUPREME (CJ027) D Whyte -- Began with rest, shuffled back on fence to be 4 to 5Ls back, travelled strongly throughout, trapped on fence, rails bias against on turning but never saw daylight and was not properly tested.
12 MASTER GUNNER (CJ142) D Beadman -- Steadied early, ended up 6 to 7Ls back on fence, had an even run in mid-section, saved ground on fence, on worst going in straight but made some minor headway under hands and heels riding.
10 TRULLI (CH327) Z Purton -- Crowded early, took a role behind midfield in 2 wide line 6Ls back, steadied at 800 M, back amongst horses on turning, found little when pressured and just kept on at same speed.
5 DIAMOND ERA (CE040) E Wilson SR/TT Standard jump, faded back to rearward spot 7 to 8Ls back racing 2 wide, not harmed by tempo, still last turning with big task in front, passed a few tired runners in straight.
1 WHIPLASH (CG072) C K Tong -- Reasonably away, couldn't slot in, posted 3 wide with cover 6Ls back, did share of work to bend, couldn't find extra on turning, hard run took toll and battled to line.
6 NORTH HILL (CJ082) G Mosse -- Fair beginning, posted 3 wide without cover in midfield, had a hard run to bend, struggling on turning in, weakened out in straight.
13 NEW CHAPTER (CH314) G Boss B Saddle shifted and raced detached at rear, never a winning prospect thereafter.
