11 IRON FIST (CH143) G Cheyne TT One out one back from leader and tracked well to straight, swiftly moved to the front 400 M out, kept on stoutly to hold off the persistent runner up.
1 YOUNG ELITE (CJ349) B Prebble -- Always travelling well in behind the pace and had the eventual winner covered, challenged strongly inside 200 M, came close to win but was just outbattled in the finish.
6 KINGS FALCON (CJ185) D Beadman XB/H Held inside running in midfield, edged into clear 250 M, ran on but not reach front pair.
10 DANESIS (CH194) M L Yeung TT Led at even pace, headed inside 400 M but refused to give in and battled all the way to the line. (Jockey dropped whip near 100 M.)
2 JAMESINA (CH290) W C Marwing CP/TT Chased leaders along the fence, kept on in straight but lacked pace to mount a serious challenge.
4 BEST FRIEND (CH240) D Whyte B Given a waiting ride in a rearward position, 7Ls down halfway but moved closer approaching home straight, progressed steadily from 350 M but not threatened the principals.
5 BULLISH CASH (CH049) W M Lai TT Dropped back to last pair on jumping from a wide barrier, switched wide out to challenge on straightening, gradually picked up and stayed on towards the finish.
8 FEARLESS (CH301) O Doleuze B Towards the rear, waited with until 450 M but was rather one-paced once angled towards the outside for a run. Never dangerous.
9 JOYFUL WINNER (CE045) C W Wong -- In last, kept to the rail throughout, had to be shaken up passing 500 M, not pace to challenge. Never a factor.
3 EXCELLENT BOY (CE238) C K Tong P Held up in midfield and was difficult to settle at times, challenged from 400 M but not quicken. No impression.
7 ROMA PEGASUS (CK115) G Mosse TT1 In midfield travelling 3-wide without cover, looked uncomfortable on the turn and found nothing when pressed on inside 400 M. Eased final 150 M.
