Background:
Tetsuya Kimura had worked for a number of trainers before he started his training career on his own in 2011. He saddled his first runner in July 2011 and soon got a good start about one month later when he scored his first win at Niigata Racecourse. He send out his first Grade 1 runner in the 2013 Queen Elizabeth II Cup and saddled his first Grade 1 winner in 2018 as he took the Mile Championship with Stelvio. Geoglyph is one of his star gallopers this term, winning the Japanese 2000 Guineas in April 2022. Kimura has saddled 324 JRA winners in his career, including 32 this season (as of 27 November).
