Diamond Wine

Will need to prove himself up at this distance but purely on ratings he certainly has respectable winning claims. Below his best last time but he convincingly won a conditions' event over 1500m on the Deauville all-weather previously.

Babar

From France's dominant stable, he had kicked off this season with an impressive handicap victory over 1600m on the Chantilly all-weather surface. Perhaps the water-soaked ground was to blame for a much less good show at Saint-Cloud last time.

Blue Link

Without a career victory so far and beaten in lesser company than this. More positively he posted a career best run over this course and distance last time, battling hard in the straight and only 1 1/2L  third of 17 in a heavy ground handicap.

Day Of Rest

It took him a long time to win his first race but he has now won two of his last five starts, in claiming and handicap company at provincial tracks. Still in good shape judging by his third in a 2000m Chantilly claimer last time.

Stromboli

His four wins have all come in claiming company and he has had a variety of different trainers. A good second in a 1900m Chantilly handicap on the all-weather recently but he faces tougher rivals on the ParisLongchamp grass this time.

Khochenko

Made his debut at Deauville last summer, fading at the end but showing some promise. Also some promise from his second start when second of 14 in a Lyon maiden last October. Moves up in distance on this 2018 return.

Ever Love

Gained 1600m handicap wins last season at Compiegne and Saint-Cloud for a different stable.  She ran quite well when fourth at Fontainebleau in March last time and her breeding suggests that she might improve for this rise in distance.

Very Meri

A gelding, he made a reasonably encouraging start to his career when sixth of 17 in a 2000m event for unraced horses at Lyon last month. Down in distance for this next racing venture.

Urban Poete

Went clear in the last 200m to beat 13 rivals by 4L and upwards in a maiden at the minor track of Evreux last September. However she hasn't appeared to progress from that in two starts since.
