Cantabile

All 3 wins from 6 starts were over 1800m.  Notched her first graded race win in the G3 Flower Cup at Nakayama in March.  One-paced and never a factor when 13th in the G1 Japanese Oaks (2400m) in May. Travelled nicely on-pace and pulled away for a 1.25L win in the G2 Rose Stakes on 16 September.  Usually sits handy or races close to speed.  Tested only on firm.

Best effort when 1.25L 2nd to Primo Scene in the G3 Fairy Stakes (1600m) at Nakayama in January.  Finished below par in three subsequent starts.  Most recent when 13th in the G2 Rose Stakes (1800m) at Hanshin on 16 September.  Hold-up runner.  Tested only on firm track.

Randonnee

Winner of the Listed Sweetpea Stakes (1800m) at Tokyo in April. Below par when 11th in the G1 Yushun Himba (2400m) in May.  Returned from 4-month spell and finished 3rd in the G3 Shion Stakes (2000m) at Nakayama in September.  Tested only on firm track.  Can lead or sit handy.

Salacia

2 wins from 6 starts. Won two back when taking a 1700m lower-class allowance race, in course record time, at Kokura in August. Decent running-on 2nd to Cantabile in the G2 Rose Stakes (1800m) at Hanshin on 16 September latest.  Hold-up runner.  Untested on softer ground.

Pioneer Bio

Won a 2000m maiden at Nakayama in March.  Just nipped at the wire when neck 2nd in the G2 Flora Stakes (2000m) at Tokyo in April, her career best performance so far.  Subsequent 7th behind Almond Eye in the G1 Yushun Himba (2400m) in May and first-up 4th in the  G3 Shion Stakes (2000m) at Nakayama on  8 September  latest.  Raced held up last 2 runs, but can settle better than midfield.  No track concern.

Lucky Lilac

Last year's JRA Champion 2yo filly. Extended her unbeaten sequence to four when taking the G2 Tulip Sho (1600m) in March.  Proved no match when soundly beaten by Almond Eye to 2nd in the G1 Oka Sho in April and 3rd in the G1 Yushun Himba (2400m) in May latest.  Races close to the speed.  No ground concern.

Tosen Bless

Best of her 3 runs as a juvenile was 4th behind Lucky Lilac in the G1 Hanshin Juvenile Fillies last December. Closed fast when neck 2nd to Cantabile in the G3 Flower Cup (1800m) at Nakayama in March. Produced another impressive late drive when 4th in the G1 Oka Sho in April. Disappointed when last of 15 in the G2 Rose Stakes (1800m) at Hanshin latest.  Hold-up runner.  No track worries.

Satono Garnet

2 wins from 5 starts, both wins over 1800m.  Showed great acceleration with a ground-saving trip when taking a lower-class allowance race at Hanshin on 2 October latest. A hold-up runner.  Raced on firm track only.

All For Love

2 wins from 5 starts including over 1800m and 2000m.  Took the Listed Wasurenagusa Sho (2000m) at Hanshin in April but finished below par when 9th in the G1 Yushun Himba (2400m) at Tokyo in May. Finished 9th latest in the G2 Rose Stakes (1800m) at Hanshin on 16 September after four-month spell.  Races better than midfield and tested only on firm going.

Almond Eye

Bidding for a sweep in the fillies' triple crown this year.  Unbeaten in three starts this season.  Defeated the colts in the G3 Shinzan Kinen (1600m) at Kyoto in January.  Produced a terrific late surge to take the G1 Oka Sho (1600m) in April. Much closer to the speed when winning impressively in the G1 Yushun Himba (2400m) in May. Tactically versatile.  Tested only on firm and good.

Oscar Ruby

Broke her maiden over the distance at Kokura in February. Scored another win last time when she mowed down her opponents for a 7L win in a 2000m lower-class allowance race at Nakayama. Can race prominently or sit handy.  Tested only on firm and good.

Mikki Charm

Has won her last three on the bounce, all over 1800m.  Showed potential when made all the running and broke clear from her opponents in a middle-class handicap at Sapporo in August. Can race prominently or sit handy.  No ground issue.

Gorgeous Lunch

Finished in the top 4 in her 8 career starts so far, with wins over 1600m and 1800m.  Spelled for four months, finished 2L 4th first-up behind Cantabile in the G2 Rose Stakes (1800m) at Hanshin in September latest. Can sit handy or race close to the speed.  Tested only on firm going.

Harlem Line

Won three on the bounce at the start of the year, all over 1600m, culminating with the Listed Anemone Stakes at Nakayama in March. Never a factor and below par when 14th in the G1 Oka Sho in April.  One-paced when she finished a fair 5th in the G3 Shion Stakes (2000m) at Nakayama in September latest. Races close to the speed.  No track concern.

Primo Scene

3 wins from 6 starts over the mile, including successes in the G3 Fairy Stakes in January and G3 Sekiya Kinen in August, latterly against older horses and colts. Also solid efforts when 5th in the G1 NHK Mile Cup at Tokyo in May. Will make her first run over 2000m here, a stamina test for this daughter of VRC Oaks winner Mosheen.  Usually settles back.   Untested on softer track.

Broke her maiden at Hanshin over 1600m in September last year, before finishing decent 2nd behind Lucky Lilac in the G3 Artemis Stakes (1600m) in Tokyo last October. Well below par in 9 starts since.  Can set the pace or race close to the speed.  No track concern.
