J'aurais Du

Battled on well to win over 1300m on the Deauville all-weather track last December, his final start of a busy two-year-old career. However he has generally disappointed in four starts this year, finishing sixth each time. Up in distance.

Soberano

Well placed to win two 1600m handicaps on Chantilly's all-weather surface this year. Last of six in a Longchamp conditions race on his latest start but not disgraced and chances in this easier company.

Galaxie Dete

Has won her only start, and, though getting weight from her six rivals, she did come with a good surge to land that 2000m maiden around left hand bends at a minor track. The low prizemoney of that race suggests it was not a strong event.

Cartes

His one win came in a claimer over 1600m at Chantilly in 2018. After two good placed efforts this year he was favourite for a 2100m handicap at Saint-Cloud this month. Never involved late on and may have found that distance too far.

Kiss The Devil

Made a respectable career start finishing third of seven in a good-ground 1700m maiden at a minor French track last month.

Ex Nihilo Nihilfit

Yet to win in four starts but has been second the last twice, only beaten a short-neck in a 12-runner maiden at a minor track last month. That was a well-contested event and a little improvement would give her a chance here.

Manx

Has some solid placed form in Germany without managing a win so far. However he did compete in a 1700m G3 at Krefeld last November, never able to launch a serious challenge from midfield but not disgraced either. Possibilities.

Just Proud

Skipped clear of 16 rivals - seeming to thrive on the muddy conditions - in a handicap at Saint-Cloud last November. However he hasn't shown much in two 2019 starts and, on his first start since being gelded, was 14th of 14 at Chantilly.

Wishcape

Has won one of his four starts and in the money on the other three occasions. His win came at a minor French track earlier in the year when he and the second finished clear of their rivals over 2000m. Has chances in this open-looking event.
