Chuwa Wizard

A prolific winner on dirt in Japan - invariably giving his best including when second in this last year. Prepped for this with a decisive JPN G1 victory at Kawasaki last month.

Country Grammer

Off for nine months since a G1 Santa Anita Park victory, running an excellent second in a Riyadh G1 last month. Has speed and stamina.  Chance if he doesn't 'bounce' from that big return effort.

Grocer Jack

Moved from Germany to the UK after a G3 turf victory at Hoppegarten, then not beaten far after a difficult passage at Riyadh last month. Trip fine but trying dirt for the first time.

Hot Rod Charlie

High class in the US, proving his Meydan ability with a fluent 1900m G2 win here last month, leading most of the way and responding decisively when his rider asked him to stretch clear.

Hypothetical

Led early but faded late, beaten 6.3L in this last year. In great form here lately, and defied a wide gate with lots of early speed to win a G1 over 2000m this month.

Life Is Good

Brilliant front-running victories in G1's in the US (Del Mar and Gulfstream Park) on his last two starts ensure huge respect in this despite this being his first Meydan start and tackling 2000m for the first time.

Magny Cours

A soft ground turf G3 winner at Saint Cloud but handles dirt also as he showed when 5L third in this last year. Could never get competitive in a G1 at Riyadh last month.

Midnight Bourbon

A classy and consistent US dirt performer over this trip and shorter. A very encouraging third in the G1 Saudi Cup at Riyadh last month, always prominent and fighting hard to the end.

Real World

Ambitious to run him in this dirt championship as so far his best form has been on turf, winning all his five grass starts including a G2 here this year. Never figured at Riyadh last time.

Remorse

Tough with a highly consistent dirt profile, most recently being the only rival to get near Hypothetical in a G1 here this month. But ratings don't give him much winning chance.
