Afghany

Changed trainers in mid-season. Lines up in good heart after a win against modest opposition over 1600m. Finished near the back on his only previous try at this distance.

Aintreegirl

After a busy programme in 2022 with four wins from 18 races she made a delayed start to this season in July. Ran into a place on the latest start. Handles the distance well.

Coaster

Has saved his best efforts over this distance, his only win coming last year at slightly further, but others make more appeal. 

Crisalsa

Busy campaigner, running here for the 46th time. Won for only the second time over 1600m back in April. Has run well over course and distance to suggest he could play a part on a good day.

Domagnano

Represents a veteran French stable. Beaten only a head in soft ground on latest start. That was over 1600m.

Icatu

Lightly raced 4-year-old who scored his lone success from 7 outings over today's distance. He only narrowly failed to follow that up when a close up third over course and distance on his next start.

In Paradise

Sole win has come over further. Disappointing when tackling course and distance back in May. First run since so a bit of an unknown quantity on her return.

Molino

In great form this term, reeling off three wins and a second in the space of two months. Put in a rare below par effort last time out over 2000m.

Ocean

This 5-year-old, added at the supplementary stage, turns up off the back of a lacklustre run on Deauville's all-weather. Only fifth outing this year. Has lowered his sights since tackling a G1 in 2021.

Prairie Glory

Scored over 2000m in June. Came in 7th of 16 on last visit to Longchamp and was not far away in third last time. Suited by the distance.

Rihama

Not the most consistent this term, but on the right day is one to note with two wins over 1900m earlier in the season. Returns after a near three-month break.

Riyak

Top weight. Admirably consistent this season and runs after registering only his second win in 37 career outings around three weeks ago. Suited by the trip.

Sanpedro

Out of luck when last of 15 over shorter in a similar grade handicap at Deauville. On his previous outing he ended a 12-race winless run over 1600m.

Wheel of Chance

Out of luck at the track in June when beating three home. He put that behind him when winning over 1600m and has put in another solid effort since in defeat.

Zelzalita

Won a similar class of handicap over 1600m at the beginning of the season, but this 4-year-old filly's form has trailed off a little since.
