Racing Incident Report

SINCERE HORSE began very awkwardly and shifted out abruptly, causing VICTORY FOLLOW ME to be checked when crowded for room inside MAGIC AGILITY and resulting in SINCERE HORSE also losing ground.
SUNNY ORIENT shifted out at the start and bumped MI BLANCO which was crowded for room inside MY HONEY.
From wide barriers, SWEET BEAN, GOLDEN CANNON and FOREVER POSH were all shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Despite being vigorously ridden for a considerable distance in the early stages, GENTLEMEN was slow to muster speed and passing the 1400 Metres was steadied to obtain cover.
Passing the winning post on the first occasion, MASTER BERNINI and SUNNY ORIENT were crowded for room between GENTLEMEN and MY HONEY (Apprentice H T Mo) which shifted in when not properly clear. Apprentice Mo was reprimanded.
Passing the 1200 Metres, GOLDEN CANNON got its head up when awkwardly placed behind MI BLANCO.
After the 1200 Metres, MAGIC AGILITY was left racing wide and without cover.
Over the final 100 Metres, SWEET BEAN was taken wider by MI BLANCO (U Rispoli) which shifted out under pressure. U Rispoli was advised that he would be expected to stop riding and straighten his mounts in similar circumstances.
The performances of MAGIC AGILITY and SINCERE HORSE, both of which finished tailed out, were considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, MAGIC AGILITY and SINCERE HORSE will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of VICTORY FOLLOW ME immediately following the race including an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. The performance of VICTORY FOLLOW ME, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, VICTORY FOLLOW ME will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of SOCCER BRAVE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that JIMSON THE FAMOUS had finished distressed. Before being allowed to race again, JIMSON THE FAMOUS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
JIMSON THE FAMOUS, SUPERIOR BOY and MY HONEY were sent for sampling.
<4/11/2018 Additional Veterinary Report>he Veterinary Surgeon reported that MY HONEY was lame in its right front leg with a tendon injury on the day after racing. Before being allowed to race again, MY HONEY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
