Racing Incident Report

ARMONDO was slow to begin, shortly after the start was crowded for room between FLYING SUCCESS and TAMAR which shifted in. DESERT STORM began awkwardly. SENSIBLE WAY bounded in the air at the start. Making the turn at the 800 Metres, CIRCUIT KINGDOM got its head up, hung out badly across the heels of FLYING SUCCESS and was checked severely. CIRCUIT KINGDOM then tailed out. Before being permitted to race again, CIRCUIT KINGDOM will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial around a bend and will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. At the 800 Metres, SUNBELL was momentarily steadied away from the heels of NEVER SAY NEVER after being carried in slightly by TAMAR (M Walker). M Walker was advised to exercise more care. Near the 700 Metres, SPINNING CITY became unbalanced and was checked when momentarily crowded for room inside SUNBELL which shifted in slightly when racing tight inside TAMAR. DESERT STORM, which was following, was checked in consequence. The occurrence in the opinion of the Stewards was accidental. On straightening, SUNBELL was steadied when disappointed for running behind SENSIBLE WAY and inside TAMAR. Shortly after this, SUNBELL was again steadied and shifted in when disappointed for running between SENSIBLE WAY and NEVER SAY NEVER. After the 400 Metres, NEVER SAY NEVER was steadied and shifted to the outside of ARMONDO to obtain clear running and continue forward. Near the 200 Metres, SUNBELL was again steadied when held up for running between ARMONDO and SPRING FOUNTAIN which was giving ground. After the 100 Metres, OPERA MAGIC and GOOD HEART brushed. CIRCUIT KINGDOM was sent for a clinical veterinary examination. A veterinary examination of CIRCUIT KINGDOM after the race did not show any significant findings. SUNBELL, PARADIS and EXCITING TIMES were sent for sampling.
