Racing Incident Report

ENGINEERING WONDER was withdrawn on raceday morning by order of the Stewards (ill-health of owner). Shortly after the start, GOOD TO GO was checked severely when crowded for room between MR COOL which shifted in and O DANNY BOY which shifted out. In this incident, O DANNY BOY bumped with GOOD TO GO and lost ground. After the 600 Metres, RICH DRAGON was steadied away from the heels of TIGER RIDGE. At the 500 Metres, AMO which was hanging out, was steadied when awkwardly placed inside the hindquarters of DILIGENT. GOOD TO GO, which was following, was shifted out away from AMO. Near the 200 Metres, RICH DRAGON, which was having difficulty obtaining clear running, was shifted wider on the track. Throughout the race, MR COOL travelled wide and without cover. TIGER PRAWN and WINDICATOR were sent for sampling. After the race, it was reported DILIGENT had lost its right front plate. When entering the sampling stalls following the race for routine sampling, WINDICATOR collapsed and died.
