Racing Incident Report
KIDDY SING was slow to begin. Approaching the 700 Metres, when the pace of the race slackened, LUCKY PARADISE, which was racing tight inside DASHING THUNDER, was steadied away from the heels of LIBERAL'S CHOICE which shifted out slightly away from the heels of COME SEE YOU. After the 700 Metres, SURVEYOR was steadied when momentarily crowded for room between INDUSTRIAL SUCCESS and LUCKY PARADISE. Near the 500 Metres, INDUSTRIAL SUCCESS was steadied and shifted out away from the heels of COME SEE YOU which commenced to give ground. Some inconvenience was caused to DASHING THUNDER which was racing outside INDUSTRIAL SUCCESS. Making the Home Turn, SURVEYOR was steadied when awkwardly placed inside the heels of INDUSTRIAL SUCCESS. Then in the early part of the Straight, SURVEYOR was held up and unable to obtain clear running between COME SEE YOU and INDUSTRIAL SUCCESS. Shortly after straightening, HELENE VITALITY was steadied and shifted in to avoid the heels of EQUATOR KID (D Dunn) which shifted out. D Dunn was reprimanded and told to exercise more care. LUCKY PARADISE was sent for a clinical veterinary examination. A veterinary examination of LUCKY PARADISE after the race did not show any significant findings. LIBERAL'S CHOICE, BULL'S EYE and DYNAMIC FUN were sent for sampling. After the race, it was noted LIBERAL'S CHOICE had lost its left hind plate.
