Racing Incident Report

JUST TOO GOOD was slow to begin, then became badly unbalanced when bumped by BACK SEAT DRIVER which shifted out abruptly. As a result of this, BACK SEAT DRIVER also became unbalanced and lost ground. On jumping, MUNDAHISH shifted in abruptly. Also on jumping, WINWIN COMBINATION and BABY KING bumped. Near the 900 Metres, MUNDAHISH was bumped by FLASH MAC which shifted in. After the 800 Metres, BACK SEAT DRIVER became unbalanced when awkwardly placed inside the hindquarters of BABY KING. Making the turn after the 600 Metres, TUMBLER hung out. After the 600 Metres, WINWIN COMBINATION became unbalanced and blundered. Some inconvenience was caused to BACK SEAT DRIVER which was following. Shortly after straightening, BABY KING was steadied when awkwardly placed between MUNDAHISH which shifted out slightly and FLASH MAC which on straightening got its head on the side and hung in. No action was taken. On straightening, TUMBLER was bumped by JUST TOO GOOD which shifted out. Near the 250 Metres, BABY KING was momentarily steadied away from the heels of MUNDAHISH which shifted out. M Kinane (FLASH MAC) said the horse travelled satisfactorily along the Back Straight, however, making the turn at the 600 Metres was on the wrong leg, became unbalanced and raced awkwardly. He said this continued until after straightening, the horse then hung in and failed to finish the race off. FLASH MAC was sent for a clinical veterinary examination and sampling. After the race, FLASH MAC was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said there were no significant findings, however, he noted the horse had lost its left front plate. BULLISH KID and BACK SEAT DRIVER were sent for sampling. After the race, it was noted MUNDAHISH had lost its right front plate.
