Racing Incident Report

AMSTERDAM and ENGINEERING WONDER were slow to begin. WIN FOR ALL, which was leaning against the inside of its barrier, began awkwardly. SALUT BEAUTE began awkwardly and knuckled. Making the turn at the 600 Metres, WIN FOR ALL bumped the running rail, became unbalanced and lost its position when crowded for room inside GALLANT KNIGHT which at this time got its head on the side and shifted in away from SALUT BEAUTE. Near the 250 Metres, THE WORLD OF LOVE was steadied and shifted to the outside of SENSIBLE WAY to obtain clear running, then after the 200 Metres shifted out away from the heels of SENSIBLE WAY and bumped GRAND FIGHTER. For some distance after the 200 Metres, ENGINEERING WONDER was awkwardly placed between SALUT BEAUTE and inside the heels of AWESOME EAGLE. Near the 100 Metres, O Doleuze (BOLD FIGHTER) dropped his whip. After the 100 Metres, WIN FOR ALL was shifted to the outside of BOLD FIGHTER to continued going forward. Throughout the race, AWESOME EAGLE raced wide and without cover. O Doleuze said it was anticipated SENSIBLE WAY would lead the race at a good gallop, he was therefore instructed not to take that horse on in the lead but rather take a sit off it. He said further he was told if another runner wished to cross from his outside he should allow that horse to shift across, race outside the lead and obtain a position with cover. THE WORLD OF LOVE and SENSIBLE WAY were sent for sampling.
