Racing Incident Report
O Doleuze (SPEED WINNER) was reprimanded for presenting himself to weigh out for this race with the incorrect saddle cloth. NOBLE GLORY jumped awkwardly and then was bumped by DEVON FLAIR which was taken in by HARVEST GALA. WISHING WELL, SPEED WINNER and UNIVERSAL GLORY began awkwardly. From the outside barrier, JOY AND TREASURE was immediately steadied and taken across behind runners. Shortly after the start, HARVEST GALA shifted in and bumped DEVON FLAIR. Approaching the winning post on the first occasion, DEVON FLAIR got its head up when being checked away from the heels of HARVEST GALA, shifted out and hampered JOY AND TREASURE and WISHING WELL. In the early stages, JUST TOO GOOD was left racing three wide without cover, passing the 1200 Metres was allowed to stride forward to sit outside of the leader FUN CRUISER. Near the 700 Metres, UNIVERSAL GLORY was steadied away from the heels of PURPLE GOLD which shifted in. A short distance later, PURPLE GOLD shifted out and bumped FORTUNE GOLD. Rounding the Home Turn, SPEED WINNER was steadied to avoid the heels of UNIVERSAL GLORY which was giving ground. NOBLE GLORY, which was following SPEED WINNER, was hampered in consequence. Near the 150 Metres, DEVON FLAIR was shifted to the outside of FORTUNE GOLD to obtain clear running. As a result of DEVON FLAIR shifting out, NOBLE GLORY was disappointed for running between DEVON FLAIR and HARVEST GALA and was shifted out as a consequence. When obtaining a run to the outside of FORTUNE GOLD passing the 100 Metres, DEVON FLAIR was inconvenienced when FORTUNE GOLD shifted out slightly. In this incident, DEVON FLAIR and HARVEST GALA bumped. WISHING WELL, which had been inclined to lay out in the early part of the Straight, was hampered near the 100 Metres after shifting in towards the heels of JOY AND TREASURE which itself shifted out slightly. DASH FOR VICTORIES was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of DASH FOR VICTORIES after the race did not show any significant findings. PURPLE GOLD and FORTUNE GOLD were sent for sampling.
