Racing Incident Report
HOLIGAN was withdrawn on 16.2.07 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (fever). Before being allowed to race again, HOLIGAN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. After arriving at the Start, E Saint-Martin expressed concern over the action of LUCKY DIAMOND. LUCKY DIAMOND was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon who said the horse was mildly lame in the left hind leg and in his opinion was not suitable to race. Acting on this advice, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of LUCKY DIAMOND. Before being allowed to race again, LUCKY DIAMOND will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. NATURAL NINE began awkwardly and lost ground. On jumping, RIGHT FRAAR was crowded for room between JADE DRAGONFLY and KEY WINNER which shifted in. Over about the final 200 Metres, JADE DRAGONFLY raced in restricted room inside SKYVIEW BAR which was hanging in. Because of this, JADE DRAGONFLY was not fully tested. After the 200 Metres, RIGHT FRAAR was steadied and shifted to the outside of CRYSTAL into clear running. In the Straight, FIRST BABY hung in. FIRST BABY and NATURAL NINE were sent for sampling.
