Racing Incident Report

HAPPY GUYS began awkwardly. MONTE CRISTO and MAJESTIC HEART were slow to begin. For some distance approaching the 1200 Metres, MAJESTIC HEART proved very difficult to settle and shifted out when being steadied away from the heels of MOON CHASER. When MAJESTIC HEART shifted back in after the 1200 Metres, MONTE CRISTO was steadied in consequence. After the 1000 Metres, HOT SHOT commenced to over-race and shifted out away from the heels of KING OF SCOTS, resulting in HOT SHOT and GLORY OF INDIA bumping. HOT SHOT continued to prove difficult to settle for some distance after this and continued to be awkwardly placed close to the heels of KING OF SCOTS. Passing the 600 Metres, HOT SHOT was checked away from the heels of KING OF SCOTS. A short distance after this, ANTIPASTO was checked away from the heels of HOT SHOT which was again checked away from the heels of KING OF SCOTS. Passing the 100 Metres, GLORY OF INDIA was steadied away from the heels of SADDLERS LODGE which shifted out. A veterinary inspection of HAPPY GUYS and MOON CHASER after the race did not show any significant findings. KING OF SCOTS and SADDLERS LODGE were sent for sampling.
