Racing Incident Report

RECIPROCATION began only fairly.
COMMANDING MISSILE began awkwardly and was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Despite being vigorously ridden in the early stages, REGENCY BO BO failed to muster speed.
Also despite being vigorously ridden for some distance in the early stages, HARMONY WIN WIN was slow to muster speed and after the 1000 Metres was steadied to obtain cover when racing wide.
Passing the 1100 Metres, OUR LUCKY GLORY shifted in and was awkwardly placed outside the heels of SAKEWIN.
Near the 900 Metres, OUR LUCKY GLORY got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of DIAMOND BRILLIANT (H Bentley) which shifted in when not properly clear. H Bentley was severely reprimanded and told to ensure that he provides sufficient clearance when crossing other runners in future.
Passing the 500 Metres, REGENCY BO BO was shifted out away from the heels of WAR WEAPON.
Passing the 200 Metres, OUR LUCKY GLORY shifted out under pressure.
Throughout the race, MR VALIANT travelled wide and without cover.
After the race, it was noted that DIAMOND BRILLIANT had blood at its left nostril. An endoscopic examination conducted on DIAMOND BRILLIANT found there to be no blood in the trachea and accordingly the horse was not deemed to have bled.
Also after the race, it was reported that COMMANDING MISSILE had sustained a small abrasion to the left hind leg.
A veterinary inspection of MR VALIANT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
SAKEWIN and DROPS OF GOD were sent for sampling.
