Racing Incident Report

On jumping, ALL ARE MINE and IVY LEAGUE were crowded between STAR CONTACT and VIVA HUNTER, both of which shifted ground.
ROMANTIC LAOS jumped only fairly and then was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
From the outside barriers, MALDIVES and ALL BEAUTY were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
From a wide barrier, GALLANT CROWN was also shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After travelling a short distance, CAPITAL LEGEND was steadied away from VIVA HUNTER which shifted out slightly. CAPITAL LEGEND was then inclined to race keenly in the early stages when being steadied to obtain cover behind IVY LEAGUE. After the 600 Metres, CAPITAL LEGEND shifted to the outside of IVY LEAGUE and then lay out making that turn for a short distance thereafter.
STAR CONTACT was held up for a short distance after the 400 Metres behind SUPER BABY.
MALDIVES was held up on the Home Turn.
IVY LEAGUE lay in under pressure in the Straight and over the concluding stages could not be fully tested when being corrected by its rider, L Hewitson.
After the race, Z Purton (ROMANTIC LAOS) stated that he was able to obtain a favourable position on the rail from his wide barrier. He said when asked for an effort in the Straight, ROMANTIC LAOS initially responded to his riding, but up in class tonight did not finish the race off strongly over the final 200 Metres. A veterinary inspection of ROMANTIC LAOS immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Also after the race, ALL ARE MINE was noted to have sustained wounds to the left front cannon.
A veterinary inspection of SUPER BABY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
ROMANTIC LAOS, MALDIVES and VIVA HUNTER were sent for sampling.
