3 4 GALLANT VALOUR (H323) Near the 1050 Metres became unbalanced when it shifted in and away from KING INVINCIBLE and was positioned close to the running rail. In the Home Straight lay in and proved difficult to ride out. Near the 100 Metres shifted in and away from SUPER ELITE, resulting in its rider B Avdulla having to stop riding and straighten his mount which resulted in GALLANT VALOUR not being able to be fully ridden out to the finish of the event.
4 5 GOLD TACK (H106) No report.
5 7 SIGHT VICTORY (H378) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
6 3 EASY SNIP (G211) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
7 9 HERO STAR (D033) Over the concluding stages was steadied away from GALLANT VALOUR.
8 2 JOY COMING (H149) No report.
9 10 KING INVINCIBLE (H199) Jumped awkwardly and then was bumped shortly after the start. Over the concluding stages raced tight to the inside of GOLD TACK and could not be ridden out to the finish.
10 12 SUPER ELITE (H247) Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
11 1 HAPPY FAT CAT (G166) Jumped awkwardly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 8 HEARTY WISH (E343) Jumped only fairly.
