1 1 FIND MY LOVE (H110) H Bowman Bumped on jumping. Sent for sampling post-race.
4 2 BOWSER (H460) M Chadwick Near the 100 Metres was directed to the inside of NEBRASKAN to continue into clear running.
7 3 LUCKY ARCHANGEL (E385) M F Poon H T Mo (THE DOUBLE EAGLE) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that shortly after the start whilst riding his mount along he permitted THE DOUBLE EAGLE to shift out when insufficiently clear of TELECOM DRAGON, resulting in TELECOM DRAGON being crowded out onto LUCKY ARCHANGEL and resulting in LUCKY ARCHANGEL having to be checked when crowded between TRIUMPHANT WARRIOR and TELECOM DRAGON. H T Mo was suspended from riding in races for one Hong Kong raceday to be conducted on Wednesday, 26 March 2025 at Sha Tin. In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his excellent race riding record. After the event, M F Poon stated that the instructions were to endeavour to hold an on-pace position but after being crowded shortly after the start his mount was unable to maintain a more forward position.
6 4 GOLDEN FRIENDSHIP (K106) L Ferraris Shifted out at the start and was bumped.
9 5 TELECOM DRAGON (H322) A Atzeni Shortly after the start was crowded between LUCKY ARCHANGEL and THE DOUBLE EAGLE which shifted out. Near the 550 Metres was bumped by KA YING POWER. B Avdulla was found guilty of a careless riding charge for causing interference approaching the 800 Metres (see KA YING POWER). After the event, B Avdulla stated that his mount was disadvantaged by racing wide and without cover from the 600 Metres and as a result did not finish the race off in the Home Straight. Noted to have lost its left front plate after the race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
5 9 NEW POWER (H325) M L Yeung Jumped awkwardly and shortly afterwards was bumped by GLORY CLOUD which shifted out. Passing the 50 Metres was momentarily crowded between NEBRASKAN and FIND MY LOVE which shifted in before being corrected by its rider.
10 10 KA YING POWER (H169) L Hewitson B Avdulla (GLORY CLOUD) was found guilty of a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that approaching the 800 Metres he allowed his mount to shift in when not clear of KA YING POWER, resulting in KA YING POWER having to be checked to avoid GLORY CLOUD and losing its running. After considering the evidence, the Stewards found Jockey Avdulla to be guilty of the charge but having regard to the circumstances of the incident and the low range of carelessness B Avdulla was reprimanded. After the event, L Hewitson stated that although his mount was crowded near the 900 Metres it was still disappointing in its failure to respond to his riding in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 11 THE DOUBLE EAGLE (J342) H T Mo (-2) H T Mo pleaded guilty to a careless riding charge for causing interference shortly after the start (see LUCKY ARCHANGEL). 12 5 CHAMPION METHOD (H366) A Atzeni Near the 750 Metres shifted in towards GLORY B and shortly after was steadied away from that runner when GLORY B shifted out slightly. After the event, A Atzeni stated that his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover until near the 500 Metres and raced a little keenly with blinkers being applied for the second time. He added CHAMPION METHOD may be better suited by being dropped back in distance for its next race start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 6 KING ALLOY (K099) R Kingscote When questioned, R Kingscote stated that his instructions were to hold an on-pace position. He said after jumping awkwardly and being badly crowded by SPICY SO SMART which shifted out abruptly, his mount lost ground. He said having regard to his instructions he allowed KING ALLOY to go forward in the early stages and entering the Back Straight his intention was to endeavour to cross CHAMPION METHOD. He said when his mount failed to show sufficient pace to do so it was left racing very wide and without cover for the majority of the event. R Kingscote agreed with the Stewards that in retrospect he would have been better suited by riding his mount in a conservative manner in the early stages after receiving interference at the start.
3 7 MR COOL (K184) K Teetan Jumped only fairly and then was crowded between VON BAER and KARATE EXPRESS, both of which shifted ground slightly. Sent for sampling post-race.

3 1 SPORTS LEGEND (H456) H T Mo (-2) No report.
11 2 CALIFORNIA TOUCH (J051) M Chadwick After the event, M Chadwick stated that his mount travelled satisfactorily in the lead but gave ground when under pressure in the Home Straight and he could offer no explanation in relation to its performance. Trainer W K Mo stated that, in his opinion, CALIFORNIA TOUCH was not suited by SPORTS LEGEND being positioned to its outside throughout the early and middle stages of the event, particularly with the race being run slightly inside of standard time through those sections of the race. He also stated that CALIFORNIA TOUCH may have been disadvantaged by this being its second start after a long break from racing. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of CALIFORNIA TOUCH was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Before being allowed to race again, CALIFORNIA TOUCH will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. <13/3/2025 Additional Veterinary Report> CALIFORNIA TOUCH, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. CALIFORNIA TOUCH was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer W K Mo this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. As previously advised, CALIFORNIA TOUCH will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.
6 3 CHATEAUNEUF (J219) H Bowman The Stewards inquired into an incident making the Home Turn where CHATEAUNEUF shifted to the outside of SPORTS LEGEND and made contact with BEAUTY INFINITY for some distance thereafter. After considering all the evidence, the Stewards determined that H Bowman, the rider of CHATEAUNEUF, was entitled to improve to the outside of SPORTS LEGEND and as he did so CHATEAUNEUF and BEAUTY INFINITY made contact which then resulted in BEAUTY INFINITY shifting in and crowding the running of CHATEAUNEUF shortly after. CHATEAUNEUF then raced in restricted room between SPORTS LEGEND and BEAUTY INFINITY between the 300 Metres and the 100 Metres where it was steadied when crowded between SPORTS LEGEND (H T Mo) and BEAUTY INFINITY (B Avdulla), both of which shifted ground. Both H T Mo and B Avdulla were advised to exercise more care. Over the concluding stages was then not able to be ridden to the finish when placed close to the heels of BEAUTY INFINITY.

9 9 WRITTEN CASA (J305) A Atzeni After the event, A Atzeni stated that from a wide barrier his instructions were to ride his mount in a conservative manner in the early stages. Trainer J Richards confirmed the instructions issued and stated that with WRITTEN CASA stepping up in class tonight he was of the opinion that from a wide barrier this was the best option for the horse to allow it to finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
4 10 YOUNG ARROW (J401) H Bentley Jumped awkwardly.
7 11 POSITIVE SMILE (J467) M L Yeung From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
