Racing Incident Report
REAL GOOD left the gates awkwardly, shifted in and bumped HANDOVER. MONEY, which was standing with its head turned slightly to the off side, jumped awkwardly. ONE STEP AHEAD was slowly away. In the early stages, TOP LIGHT over-raced and proved very difficult to settle. About the 500 Metres, ONE STEP AHEAD was momentarily unbalanced and dipped. H K Yim (KIWI STAR) explained on the Home Turn the saddle slipped back. As a consequence he was at a disadvantage. The performance of HANDOVER was considered unacceptable. Before HANDOVER can race again, it will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial and will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. HANDOVER was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
