Racing Incident Report

COME SEE YOU was a little slow to begin and then lost further ground when crowded for room between CLASSIC DELIGHT and GOLDEN SUN. In the early and middle stages, NOBLE SILENCE proved difficult to settle. On straightening, NOBLE SILENCE was crowded for room between COME SEE YOU and SHANGHAI LAD which shifted out in an endeavour to obtain clear running. Near the 300 Metres, SOPRANO became unbalanced when being shifted out away from the heels of FAMOUS DANCER. After the 200 Metres, SHANGHAI LAD, which was inclined to hang in, was awkwardly placed between FLAMING LAMBORGINI and DAVE'S BEST. For the major part of the race, DAVE'S BEST raced wide and without cover. G Schofield (BETTER BOY) explained after passing the 600 Metres he commenced to shift away from the rail and got to a position behind GOLDEN SUN on straightening, however, as he was shifting out FLAMING LAMBORGINI and DAVE'S BEST were able to improve around his outside and as a consequence on straightening he was held up for clear running for some distance between FLAMING LAMBORGINI and GOLDEN SUN. SOLAR was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of SOLAR after the race did not show any significant findings. DAVE'S BEST and FLAMING LAMBORGINI were sent for sampling.
