Racing Incident Report
NOBLE HEART was slow to begin. C Munce (FORTUNE PRINCESS) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that near the 1500 Metres he permitted his mount to shift in when not clear of TIME SUPREME, causing that horse to lose its rightful running and be checked. C Munce was suspended from riding in races for a period to expire on Thursday 17 November 2005 on which day he may resume race riding (2 Hong Kong racedays). The commencement of the suspension was deferred until after the Sha Tin racemeeting next Wednesday 9 November 2005. In addition, C Munce was fined $30,000 in lieu of a suspension for a period incorporating one further raceday. Near the 1300 Metres, DR MORE was steadied away from the heels of WADADELIGHT which was carried in by FIREWHEEL (M Rodd) which shifted ground when not quite clear. M Rodd was advised to exercise care. After the 800 Metres, WADADELIGHT was steadied away from the heels of FIREWHEEL. Near the 600 Metres, DR MORE, which at this time was proving difficult to settle, was steadied when disappointed for running between FORTUNE PRINCESS and TIME SUPREME. After the 400 Metres, FORTUNE PRINCESS was steadied and shifted out when disappointed for running between EXPEDITIOUS and NOBLE CHAMPION. After this, NOBLE CHAMPION hung in. At the 250 Metres, EVER KING was steadied when crowded for room between NOBLE HEART which was carried in slightly by LUCKY CORDELIA which shifted some ground as CAPITALAND on its outside also shifted slightly and DR MORE which at this time was carried out by FORTUNE PRINCESS. No action was taken. When closing the race off strongly, LUCKY KING after the 200 Metres hung in and proved difficult to ride. Over about the final 100 Metres, TIME SUPREME and AMPLE GAINS raced tight. Over the concluding stages, FORTUNE PRINCESS hung out. Throughout the race, LUCKY CORDELIA travelled wide and without cover. WADADELIGHT was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of WADADELIGHT after the race did not show any significant findings. TIME SUPREME and LUCKY KING were sent for sampling. After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported NOBLE CHAMPION had sustained a laceration to the right hind cannon. Before being allowed to race again, NOBLE CHAMPION will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
