Racing Incident Report

GREAT ACHIEVEMENT was slow to begin and shortly afterwards was checked when crowded for room between ART TRADER which shifted out and HEALTHY WEALTHY which shifted in. In this incident, ART TRADER was also steadied and then crowded for room between GREAT ACHIEVEMENT and AGILITY. Near the 600 Metres, RED POWER became unbalanced when crowded for room between PRETTY TRIO and HAIL THE STORM which shifted out slightly away from the heels of AGILITY. In the early part of the Straight, HAIL THE STORM had difficulty obtaining clear running and after the 400 Metres was shifted to the outside of HEALTHY WEALTHY to go forward. After the 400 Metres, GREAT ACHIEVEMENT was shifted to the inside of AGILITY in an endeavour to find clear running. For a considerable distance approaching and passing the 200 Metres, GREAT ACHIEVEMENT was steadied when unable to obtain clear running behind CALIFORNIASUNSHINE which was giving ground and inside AGILITY. Throughout the race, ROOSEVELT travelled wide and without cover. AGILITY was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of AGILITY after the race did not show any significant findings. FLAMING LAMBORGINI and HAIL THE STORM were sent for sampling.
Additional Veterinary Reports (released on 12 December 2005)
The Senior Veterinary Officer reported that MAGNIFIER was this morning found to be lame in the right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, MAGNIFIER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
