Racing Incident Report

NOTTING HUW was slow to begin and then was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
KING DRAGON shifted out abruptly at the start and was checked away from the heels of ALL FOR ST PAUL’S.
DR LUCKY STAR began only fairly.
DIAMOND KING began awkwardly and was bumped by TREASURE CHEST which shifted out. After this, from a wide barrier, DIAMOND KING was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
A short distance after the start, VIVA COUNCIL shifted out and made contact with TREASURE CHEST on two occasions.
Approaching the 1100 Metres, TREASURE CHEST was awkwardly placed inside the heels of KA YING EXCELLENT.
After the 1000 Metres, LUCKY VICTOR was left racing wide and without cover.
After the 500 Metres, VIVA COUNCIL raced tight outside ALL FOR ST PAUL’S which lay out.
Approaching the 200 Metres, CHARITY GRAND shifted in marginally and TREASURE CHEST shifted out, resulting in TREASURE CHEST and CHARITY GRAND bumping passing the 200 Metres and becoming unbalanced.
In the Straight, BEST FOR YOU shifted out under pressure.
The performances of NOTTING HUW and LUCKY VICTOR, both of which finished tailed out, were considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, NOTTING HUW and LUCKY VICTOR will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of NOTTING HUW, VIVA COUNCIL and LUCKY VICTOR immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
JUNEAU PARK and KA YING EXCELLENT were sent for sampling.
