| 1 | 3 | SPICY SO SMART (G203) | When questioned regarding the apparent improved performance, Trainer P C Ng stated that at its last start the instructions were to lead, however, SPICY SO SMART was caught racing wide and without cover from the outside barrier and as a result gave ground in the Home Straight. He said tonight from a more favourable barrier SPICY SO SMART commenced so well and was able to lead without being pressured in the early stages and consequently finished the race off well and this was the main reason for its improved performance. Sent for sampling post-race. |

Before being allowed to race again, DASHING TRIUMPH will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Before being allowed to race again, SOARING TOWER will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. |
