Racing Incident Report

Pla. Horse No. Horse Incident
1 8 KA YING ATTACK (J391) Sent for sampling post-race.
2 3 EVERYONE'S STAR (K172) Sent for sampling post-race.
3 5 YUEN LONG ELITE (J272) No report.
4 1 CROSSBORDERPEGASUS (K008) When questioned H Bowman stated that he was given no specific instructions other than to settle where comfortable. He said with the early stages of the event being run at a genuine pace CROSSBORDERPEGASUS settled further back than what he had anticipated. He said when placed under pressure in the Home Straight, whilst his mount lay in, it responded to his efforts to shift to the outside of EVERYONE’S STAR. He added when placed under pressure near the 200 Metres CROSSBORDERPEGASUS hung in and as a result he was not able to fully test the horse over the final 200 Metres. Trainer J Size stated that he had applied blinker with one cowl to the horse today in an attempt to improve its racing manners and would now consider giving the horse a break from racing. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The Stewards determined that as a warning was placed on the horse’s racing manners at its last race start it will now be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and ridden out in that barrier trial to demonstrate to the Stewards that its racing manners have improved prior to being permitted to race again. Sent for sampling post-race.
5 7 CALIFORNIA BAY (K364) No report.
6 9 SEA CHARIOT (K358) In the Home Straight hung in and proved difficult to ride out.
7 2 AERIS NOVA (J534) After being placed in the starting gates became fractious, lowered its head and a result was removed, inspected by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to start. After the event K C Leung reported that his mount travelled only fairly during the event and failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight and lacked concentration during the race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
8 6 KEEN MOLLY (K386) Jumped only fairly.
9 4 WITHALLMYFAITH (K428) Jumped awkwardly.
10 10 CHEVAL VICTORIOUS (J458) No report.
11 12 BIG RETURN (K192) Jumped awkwardly, made contact with the right side of its starting gate and lost ground.
WV 11 TARGET AUDIENCE (K107) Withdrawn on 29.5.25 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right hind). Before being allowed to race again, TARGET AUDIENCE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
