COMMENTS AND PROSPECT:
CAPITALIST was owned by James Harron Bloodstock and trained by Peter Snowden with 7 attempts while Blake Shinn as his usual rider, winning distance from 1000M to 1200M including Magic Millions 2YO Classic and G1 Golden Slipper Stakes that denied YANKEE ROSE and FLYING ARTIE. However, the son of WRITTEN TYCOON found no more winner on his 3YO return and joined the stallion roster in 2017 at Newgate Farm with 11 black type contests winners including star sprinter CAPTIVANT, MARINE ONE and PROFITEER. In 2023, his service fee is AUD$ 77,000.
CAPITAL DELIGHT was purchased by John Foote Bloodstock, same agent of GALAXY WITNESS, at AUD$ 600,000 as a yearling. He was trained by Tony Gollan in Australia with a record of 3 wins by racing handy in 5 starts, winning distance from 1100M to 1200M. After a hat-trick, he was sat to march in Golden Slipper but has been called off due to the heavy ground, then he finished 5th in G2 Spirit Of Boom Classic on soft going and 4th in G2 BRC Sires’ Produce S over 1400M where he settled at midfield and bumped on straight. Former trainer Tony Gollan got a high expectation on him that J J Atkins Stakes was on the schedule but finally cancelled as the owner wish him to join HK racing ranking. The chestnut should be a precocious sprinter and he is an interesting prospect.
