COMMENTS AND PROSPECT:
COATS CHOICE was owned by Slade Bloodstock and trained by Lee Freedman with 1 second in 5 starts. He finished 2nd on his debut in a 900M listed Debutant Stakes with Brett Prebble in the saddle at Caulfield, then he could only ran on for 4th in following 4 attempts. The son of champion stallion REDOUTE’S CHOICE and being a family member of CATBIRD and DANBIRD, the colt joined the stallion roaster that stationed at Australia at the beginning and transferred to New Zealand with 4 black type contest winners.
DO YOUR PART was formerly known as OUR FLASH HARRY and trained by Sabin Kirkland in New Zealand with 2 wins, 1 second and 1 third in 5 starts. He led all the way on his debut in a 1200M event on heavy ground at Ascot Park, then led again to win a 1200M benchmark 65 handicap contest at Riverton. Full-brother included former HK runners HIGHLY PROACTIVE who owned by same owner collected 4 wins and FORTUNE BO BO also recorded 4 wins, both were trained by Sabin Kirkland before joining HK ranking. The bay gelding should be a speedy sprinter and fine at Happy Valley.
