Racing Incident Report
Whilst being loaded, FISH KING was jammed against one of the back gates. The horse was taken away from the barriers and examined by the Veterinary Surgeon who reported in his opinion the horse was suitable to race. FISH KING left the gates awkwardly and shifted out, as a consequence of this some inconvenience was caused to LUCKY LAD. Near the 800 Metres, ZENON LIGHT got its head on the side and lay in away from FISH KING which was going forward to join RUN AND WIN. As a consequence of ZENON LIGHT hanging in, it bumped JAMIESON which in turn shifted ground and caused unnecessary crowding to WILFUL FLIGHT and CLASSIC JESTER. The occurrence however in the opinion of the Stewards was accidental. From about the 800 Metres, RUN AND WIN commenced to hang out, then rounding the Home Turn and in the Straight hung out badly. Mr W L Wong, Trainer of RUN AND WIN, was told if the horse performs similarly again, action will be taken against it. RUN AND WIN and FISH KING were sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
