Racing Incident Report
The Veterinary Surgeon said in his opinion GOOD CHANCE was lame in its off side front leg and not suitable to race. Accordingly GOOD CHANCE was withdrawn by order of the Stewards prior to Race 7. Before racing again, GOOD CHANCE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. SUPER SPRINT, which was restless after being boxed, was slowly away. On jumping, GRAND FIGHTER bounded in the air, shifted out and bumped GOLD CHARM. Also on jumping, GREEN CENTURY was severely checked when crowded between FORTUNE MAKER and BLACK MAGIC which was taken out abruptly by VICTORY WARRIOR. The occurrence in the opinion of the Stewards was accidental. When the gates opened, HYDROGEN POWER reared and lost ground. Throughout the race, WINNING WAYS hung in. SUPER SPRINT was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing. After the race, it was reported JUST WIN was bleeding from both nostrils.
