Racing Incident Report
The Veterinary Surgeon advised that SENSIBLE WAY was sore in its near side front leg. As a consequence of this, it was withdrawn by order of the Stewards subsequent to Race 2. Before racing again, SENSIBLE WAY will be required to pass an official veterinary examination. ONE STEP AHEAD left the gates very awkwardly, shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of SNIPPEDYDOODA which was taken in slightly by STYLISH. RARE left the gates awkwardly. In the early stages, KIMBER got its head on the side and hung in. About the 600 Metres, STYLISH was steadied when close to the heels of SNIPPEDYDOODA and tight inside LOYAL DEVOTION which was hanging in away from JOKERS WILD. Near the 400 Metres, STYLISH shifted out to go forward, in doing so brushed with LOYAL DEVOTION and carried that horse slightly wider which in turn caused some inconvenience to JOKERS WILD. About the 200 Metres, KIMBER, which was making some ground, became unbalanced and dipped. SNIPPEDYDOODA and JOKERS WILD were sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing.
