Racing Incident Report
On leaving the Parade Ring, KEV BUSHIDO kicked out and made contact with a rail. After arriving at the Start, the horse was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and after the necessary consultations he said the horse in his opinion was suitable to race. KEV BUSHIDO left the gates awkwardly, knuckled and nearly fell. INDUSTRIAL PRIDE was slowly away. Just after the start, HELENE ELEGANCE was crowded for room between ANABATIK which shifted in slightly and KEV BUSHIDO which after regaining its feet shifted out. In the middle stages, KIMBERLEY MINES hung out and HELENE ELEGANCE had a tendency to lay in. Near the 500 Metres, H K Yim (REAL WINNER) dropped his whip. About the 200 Metres, S K Sit was hit on the arm by the whip of G Schofield (SUPER SPRINT). KIMBERLEY MINES was sent for a clinical veterinary examination and sampling. After the race, KIMBERLEY MINES was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said an endoscopic examination revealed a significant amount of mucus in the trachea. Before KIMBERLEY MINES races again, it will be required to pass an official veterinary examination. ANABATIK and SUPER SPRINT were sent for sampling.
