Racing Incident Report

RED FIREBALL and FOOD LOVER were slow to begin. From a gate towards the outside, NOBLE ZOOM was immediately steadied and shifted across behind runners to a position closer to the rail. After the 1400 Metres, PERFECT GALLANT, which was inclined to be laying out, was momentarily crowded for room inside SUPRA SMART KID which was briefly carried in by CHIU CHOW HERO. After this incident, PERFECT GALLANT hung out and making the turn at the 800 Metres shifted out and was checked away from the heels of ADVANCE AHEAD. Near the 1200 Metres, ADVANCE AHEAD after being crossed by PRETTY DOUBLE proved difficult to settle. In the middle stages, RED FIREBALL and TOP DANCER proved difficult to settle. After the 400 Metres, RED FIREBALL was steadied when disappointed for running between TOP DANCER and ALLEGRO which shifted out momentarily. Then near the 100 Metres, RED FIREBALL was again steadied when crowded for room between ADVANCE AHEAD and PRETTY DOUBLE which shifted out slightly. Near the 200 Metres, TOP DANCER was momentarily steadied away from the heels of ADVANCE AHEAD which shifted out into clear running. After the 100 Metres, ADVANCE AHEAD was momentarily steadied when disappointed for running between BEST EVER which shifted out and NOBLE ZOOM which shifted in. In the Straight, NOBLE ZOOM hung in and proved difficult to ride. Throughout the race, ENERGETIC PRINCE raced wide and without cover. TOP DANCER, which performed poorly, was sent for a clinical veterinary examination. After the race, TOP DANCER was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said the horse was lame in the right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, TOP DANCER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. NOBLE ZOOM and BEST EVER were sent for sampling.
