Racing Incident Report
PRINCE OF PINS, which was standing with its head turned to the left, began awkwardly, got its head up and lost ground. DAYLIGHT EXPRESS was slow to begin. In the early stages, CRUSH ON YOU was taken across behind runners. Near the 1000 Metres, KAISER'S CHOIX was momentarily steadied away from the heels of LIBERAL'S RIDE. Near the 600 Metres, PRINCE OF PINS was steadied away from the heels of SUPER RED which momentarily shifted in. VALUE CHOICE made the turn at the 600 Metres awkwardly, shifted out slightly and was checked away from the heels of LIBERAL'S RIDE which at this time shifted in momentarily. PALIO KING, which was following, was steadied in consequence. No action was taken. DAYLIGHT EXPRESS hung out making the turn at the 600 Metres. Near the 250 Metres, EUPHORIC KID, which was hanging in, was shifted out to obtain clear running. At the 200 Metres, PALIO KING, which was hanging in, was shifted out away from the heels of VALUE CHOICE. DAYLIGHT EXPRESS was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of DAYLIGHT EXPRESS after the race did not show any significant findings. SHINING DRAGON and KAISER'S CHOIX were sent for sampling. After the race, it was reported PRINCE OF PINS had bled from both nostrils.
